Gail Kelly, CAE has a wide range of work experience spanning several decades. Gail began their career as a Teacher at the East York Board of Education in 1975 and remained in this role until 1984. Gail then joined Naylor LLC, where they held various positions including Publisher and Director of Sales and Training Development. During their tenure at Naylor LLC, they were responsible for developing print and electronic communication programs for nonprofit trade and professional organizations in the western states. In 2007, Gail Kelly joined Safety Center Incorporated as Vice President of Community Programs, where they focused on developing content, funding, and marketing for safety programs. Gail later became the Vice President of Marketing & Community Programs, Senior VP of Community and Alcohol & Drug Programs, and ultimately, the Senior Vice President of Programs. Throughout their time at Safety Center Inc., they collaborated with nonprofits, public agencies, and private companies to create a safety culture through prevention and intervention programs. In addition, Gail Kelly served as a Member of the Board of Directors for the California Society of Association Executives from 2009 to 2011.
Gail Kelly, CAE, holds a BA in Sociology from Wilfrid Laurier University. Gail also obtained an MS in Education from The University of Texas at Dallas. In addition to their degrees, Gail Kelly has completed several certificate programs, including "Certified Association Executive (CAE)" from the American Society of Association Executives. Gail has also completed numerous online courses through Coursera, covering topics such as leadership in 21st-century organizations, better leadership for a richer life, strategic innovation, emotional intelligence, creativity, innovation, and change, and gamification.
