Eric Huang

Eric Huang has a diverse work experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Eric currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer (interim) at SAGA Diagnostics AB. Prior to this, they served as a Member of the Scientific Advisory Board at 3Helix, Inc. and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Brown University. Eric also worked as the Chief Scientific Officer at Mercy BioAnalytics, Inc. and GelMEDIX. Additionally, Eric has served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Gloucester Marine Genomics Institute.

One of Eric's notable roles was as the Chief Development Officer at Glympse Bio, where they were responsible for leading the company's strategic plan and securing $22 million in Series A financing. Before that, they held various roles at Acusphere, Inc., including General Manager, Head of Technical Operations & Intellectual Property, Director of Business Development, and Manager of Process Development and Formulations. Eric began their career at Acusphere as a Scientist in the Process Development and Formulations department.

Eric Huang attended Westwood High School from 1986 to 1990. Eric then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University, graduating in 1994. From 1994 to 1996, Eric pursued a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Rutgers University. Following this, they completed their education with a Ph.D. in Medical Science from Brown University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000.
