Research Software Engineer at Sage Bionetworks

Gianna Jordan has a range of work experience in various fields. Gianna is currently working as a Research Software Engineer at Sage Bionetworks, where they focus on developing features in Python to improve the accessibility and usability of research data. Gianna is currently working on redesigning modules related to metadata validation and submission. Gianna then pursued a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the same university, graduating in 2021. In addition to their formal education, Gianna obtained several certifications, including the Responsible Conduct of Research from the NIH Clinical Center (CC) in August 2018, the National Incident Command System from FEMA in January 2015, and the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification from the Arizona Department of Health Services in December 2017. Gianna also obtained the Emergency Medical Technician, Basic certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians in February 2017. Finally, Gianna obtained the Open Water Diver certification from PADI, although the specific month and year of this certification were not provided.
