Nicholas Grosenbacher has a diverse work experience in software engineering and research. Nicholas has currently been working at Sage Bionetworks as a Software Engineer since February 2022, where they primarily focus on frontend development and collaborates with backend engineers, designers, and management. Before that, they were an Associate Software Engineer at Sage Bionetworks from October 2020 to February 2022. Additionally, Nicholas worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Sage Bionetworks from June 2018 to July 2020, where they contributed to the Synapse.org team.
Prior to their time at Sage Bionetworks, Nicholas worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Software Engineer from July 2020 to October 2020. Nicholas also gained research experience during their time at The Ohio State University and University of Utah. Nicholas served as a Student Research Assistant from May 2018 to July 2020 at The Ohio State University Department of Biomedical Informatics, where they performed wet lab experiments and developed tools in R/Shiny for cancer research. Moreover, they received the Pelotonia Undergraduate Research Fellowship and conducted cancer research as a Pelotonia Undergraduate Research Fellow from August 2017 to May 2018.
Furthermore, Nicholas was selected as one of 17 undergraduates for the Cancer Systems Biology Consortium Undergraduate Research Fellowship at the University of Utah. In this fellowship, they conducted research under Dr. Andrea Bild from June 2017 to August 2017.
Nicholas Grosenbacher attended Tallmadge High School from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a High School Diploma with Honors. Following this, they pursued higher education at The Ohio State University from 2015 to 2020, completing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
