Michael Colacino

Michael Colacino has held various roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Michael is currently working at Sage Therapeutics as a Senior Director of Drug Product Manufacturing. Before joining Sage Therapeutics in 2021, they worked at Amryt Pharma plc as a Senior Director of Global Manufacturing from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Aegerion Pharmaceuticals where they held multiple roles including Interim Head of Technical Operations, Senior Director of Global Manufacturing, and Director of Drug Product. Michael started their career at Genzyme Corporation as a Director of Clinical Manufacturing from 2000 to 2012. Before that, they worked at Copley Pharmaceutical as a Manager of Technology Transfer from 1994 to 2000 and at Procter & Gamble as a Scientist from 1989 to 1993.

Michael Colacino earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Michael attended this institution from 1982 to 1986. Later, from 1986 to 1988, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Chemical Engineering at the University of Maine.
