Casey Murphy

Casey Murphy has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. They began their career as a Senior Lab Assistant at Vanderbilt Microcomputer Lab, where they were responsible for computer and printer equipment maintenance. They then worked as a Network Administrator at Johnson Service Group, administering Novell LAN and providing phone support to other offices. They also set up the company's first internet account and designed and maintained the corporate website. After that, they worked as a Support Engineer at Computer Professionals Inc, providing support to all PC's campus-wide. They then became an Associate Systems Engineer at Columbia/HCA, providing complete PC support to the Customer Service department. They also worked as IT Support at Workplace, serving as a personal IT department to multiple businesses, supporting server and client issues. Currently, Casey is a Senior Network Engineer at SageNet, providing 24/7 support to Energy Services satellite networks and being responsible for all equipment between the RFT and the core routers.

Casey Murphy attended Vanderbilt University from 1992 to 1995, where they studied Computer Science and Mathematics. They did not obtain a specific degree during this time. In 2015, Casey obtained a certification in CCNP Routing/Switching from Cisco.
