Nestor Mendoza

Nestor Mendoza has a diverse work experience in the manufacturing industry. Nestor currently holds the position of Lead Production Technician at Saildrone Inc, where they started in September 2022 after being promoted from the role of Sr Production Technician, which they held since January 2022. Prior to that, Nestor worked as a Machinist at DOER Marine starting in November 2021. Nestor gained significant experience at Wrightspeed, where they worked as a Technician from July 2017 to February 2022. In this role, Nestor was responsible for producing functional prototypes, reading prints, following assembly processes, creating work instructions, and reporting any changes or issues to management. Nestor's career started at Tesla, where they worked as a Production Associate from March 2014 to July 2017.

Nestor Mendoza attended Laney College from 2018 to 2021, where they pursued a degree in Machine Technology with a focus on Machine Tool Technology/Machinist. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, Nestor also attended the Aviation Institute of Maintenance. Additionally, Nestor obtained a certification as a Certified Solidworks Associate from Dassault Systèmes in 2021.
