Rachel Elizabeth Brainerd-La Borde

Rachel Elizabeth Brainerd-La Borde has a diverse work experience. Rachel Elizabeth began in 2015 as a Private Tutor at a Private Art Studio, where they created their own lesson plans and projects. In 2016, they provided part-time daycare to a family with two girls under the age of 10. In 2017, they worked at SplashDown Beach as a Gift Shop and Body Art Attendant, as well as at Sunbeams Nursery School, Christian Preschool as a Student Helper. In 2018, they began working at New Horizons Resources, Inc. as a Direct Support Professional. In 2020, they worked at The Home Depot as a Merchandising Execution Team and at AIM Services Inc. as a Direct Support Professional. Currently, they are working at St. Coletta of Greater Washington as a Textile/Art Studio Manager and at COMMUNITY PATHWAYS as a Direct Support Professional. Rachel Elizabeth is also working at LADD Inc. as a Lead Direct Support Professional, where they have administrative responsibilities in the medical care, financial security, and community engagement fields, and provides one-on-one support with daily life skills and building independence with a trauma-informed approach.

Rachel Elizabeth Brainerd-La Borde graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 2020 with a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree in Fine/Studio Arts and Psychology.
