Don Baron

Don Baron is an experienced leader in strategic business development and partnerships, currently serving as Sr Director of Slack Strategic Business Development at Salesforce since February 2024. Prior to this role, Don was involved with Slack from September 2018 to February 2024, managing over 200 Enterprise-focused partnerships across various sectors and driving integrations that deliver measurable value. Don held significant positions at Hootsuite, where responsibilities included leading strategic alliances with major partners and overseeing SMB partnerships. Don also contributed to business development efforts at Magento, Get Satisfaction, Logix Resource Group, Hyperic, OSIsoft, and began as a Graduate Student Researcher at ICSI, focusing on natural language processing and speech recognition. Don holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
