Carolyn L. has a long and varied work experience. Carolyn began their career in 1997 as an Electronic Funds Transfer Supervisor at Bank of Hawaii. In this role, they managed the bank's electronic settlement system and general ledger accounts totaling millions daily. Carolyn also increased internal production by 40%, pushing the department over the IP national benchmark. In 1999, they became a Telecommunications Systems Analyst and Project Manager at Indus International, where they managed and reported on telecommunication services and equipment needs for 200+ U.S. employees. In 2001, Carolyn was the Gala Chairwoman for the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce of Northern California. From 2002 to 2007, they were a Board of Directors for Social Events at the Asian Art Museum. In 2011, they became an Assistant to the Director of Productions at Centro Cultural Palacio de la Moneda. Finally, from 2015 to present, Carolyn is the Director of Project Management & Client Services at Salient Global Technologies.

Carolyn L. received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Literature, General from UC Irvine between 1990 and 1994. Carolyn then attended Siemens between 2000 and 2004 for Telecommunications Engineering. In 1999, they also obtained an Accredited Automated Clearing House Professional certification from the Bank Of Hawaii. Finally, they attended Iolani School at some point in their life.
