Paul Smyth

Paul Smyth has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Paul joined Salix Finance in 2007 and has held multiple positions such as Client Relationship Manager, Head of Technical Services, Head of Programmes, and Director of Programmes and Technical Services. Paul'sprimary focus at Salix Finance has been helping the public sector reduce carbon emissions through energy efficiency investments. Prior to Salix Finance, Paul worked at FKI Switchgear as the European Sales Manager and at Rolls-Royce in various roles in sales, marketing, and business development across different regions.

Paul Smyth attended Ballymena College of Technology from 1987 to 1989, where they obtained a BTEC OND in Engineering Technology. Paul then enrolled at Heriot-Watt University from 1989 to 1992, earning a BEng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Later on, from 2001 to 2004, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at De Montfort University. Most recently, in 2015, Paul attended Hult Ashridge for a course in Leadership and People Skills, specifically focusing on Impact and Influence in driving outstanding results.
