We are looking for a Production Operator to join us on a full-time for a 12-month fixed-term contract to assemble medical devices in a certified cleanroom facility.

What We’re Looking For...

You are someone who enjoys working in a manufacturing environment. You understand the controls that are required as part of this environment and part of a heavily regulated industry. You like fine detailed work and have excellent hand eye coordination. You have high attention to detail and take pride in quality workmanship.

Our cleanroom production teams are based out of our Macquarie Park facility and currently work Monday to Friday from 6am - 2pm.

Please note that this is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Your role will include:

  • Implement Saluda Medical's production processes for the manufacture of implantable products in a certified cleanroom environment

  • Use of specialised, proprietary industrial machinery

  • Undertake product inspections

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities

  • Participate in manufacturing process and development activities

  • Participate in the routine maintenance of manufacturing equipment and the facility

  • Working within the Quality and Regulatory framework of Saluda Medical, following established work instructions and standard operating procedures.

About you:

  • Experience in operating small industrial equipment and soldering

  • Experience in using microscopes and small hand tools

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination skills and excellent manual dexterity

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Experience with, and commitment to, working in a quality-controlled environment.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to read and write English – to the level of understanding and following work instructions

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Experience in manufacturing of medical components, assemblies, and products in a certified cleanroom environment.
