Sarah Ball

Sarah Ball has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit sector. Sarah worked as the Head of Community & Events Fundraising at Samaritans, where they significantly increased their team's income and contributed to the success of digital fundraising. In addition, they led Samaritans' bid to secure a partnership with the 2024 TCS London Marathon Charity of the Year. Sarah also served as the Head of Fundraising Development at Samaritans. Prior to that, Sarah was the Director of Special Events at Special Olympics, where they managed special events for the organization. Sarah also worked at Leonard Cheshire Disability as the National Events Manager, where they led a team and developed inclusive triathlon and cycling events. Sarah started their career at Diabetes UK, working as a Corporate Relations Executive and Officer.

Sarah Ball obtained a Diploma in Event Management from the Institute of Commercial Management in 2005. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts in Drama & Education Studies from the University of Hull between 1995 and 1999.
