Kris Magel has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Kris currently serves as the VP Head of Agency and Publisher Solutions at Samba TV, where they focus on leveraging TV viewing data and cross-screen measurement solutions to modernize media agencies and publishers' businesses. Prior to this, they worked at Progress Partners as an Executive In Residence.

From 2018 to 2021, Kris was the President of Media Clients at dentsu international, where they were responsible for building service solutions for clients, improving client relationships, and driving media agency initiatives.

Before that, they held various leadership roles at Initiative, including President of the East Coast and President of the U.S. Kris also served as the Chief Investment Officer, where they integrated media buying disciplines and led cross-channel media investments. At Zenith Media US, Kris was the SVP Director of National Broadcast, leading the integration of media investments for clients and advocating for a holistic, cross-channel video approach.

Kris'scareer started at DeWitt Media, which later became Optimedia US, where they held positions in the National TV/Video buying group and eventually became the SVP Director of National TV/Video. Throughout their career, Kris has worked with various clients in the media industry, including BMW, Discovery Networks, and New York Life Insurance, among others.

Kris Magel earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing/Marketing Management from SUNY Geneseo between 1989 and 1993. Additionally, Kris obtained certifications in "Difficult Conversations: Talking About Race at Work" and "Skills for Inclusive Conversations" from LinkedIn in 2020.
