Etash Guha

Etash Guha is a quantitative finance and software engineering professional with extensive experience across various roles. Currently serving as a Quantitative Research Intern at the Georgia Tech Investments Committee since June 2019, Etash has successfully managed a $1.2 million endowment and analyzed trading strategies using statistical methods. As a Software Engineering Intern at SAS, integration of advanced NLP models into products and the development of machine learning pipelines have been key contributions. Previously, as a Machine Learning Intern at Parmonic, Etash focused on data and video analysis, enhancing product functionality for 300 users. In academia, collaboration at Georgia Tech’s Rogues Gallery involved optimization of sparse machine learning algorithms, while collaborative research at the IVAlab led to improvements in robotic exploration accuracy. Additionally, Etash is the CEO of JADE Technologies, developing NLP applications for PDF analysis. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and ongoing studies for a part-time Master's in Quantitative and Computational Finance from Georgia Institute of Technology.
