Head of Real-Time Coverage at Samdesk

Peadar Grogan has a wealth of work experience in a variety of roles. In 2004, they worked as a Technician for AECOM Dublin. Peadar then moved to AECOM Singapore in 2008, where they worked as a Consultant and was involved in the design, business case development, and environmental impact assessments of major infrastructure schemes. In 2013, they worked as a Freelance Journalist for TV3 Television Ireland, a Freelance Researcher for Newstalk 106-108, and had an Experience role at Midlands 103. From 2014 to 2020, Peadar worked at Storyful, first as a Senior Editor, EMEA, then as a Duty Editor, Senior Journalist & Public Projects Coordinator, and Editorial Stakeholder - Product Development. Finally, since 2020, they have been the Head of Real-Time Coverage at Samdesk, where they have grown the team from 1 to 20+ over 18 months.

Peadar Grogan's education history is as follows: In 2001-2004, they attended Technological University Dublin, where they completed a Tech Dip (Struct) in Civil and Structural Engineering. In 2006-2008, they attended Technological University Dublin again, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Civil Engineering. In 2012-2013, they attended Dublin City University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Journalism. Finally, in 2015-2016, they attended Rice University and completed a Coursera Specialization in Computing.
