Pimkwan Jaru-ampornpan is an Assistant Professor and Clinical Instructor in Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, since January 2018. Since April 2020, Pimkwan has served as an Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic consultant at Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital, and as an Ophthalmologist at Samitivej Hospital. Prior experience includes completing a Clinical Oculplastics Fellowship at the University of Michigan from July 2015 to July 2017 and an Ophthalmology residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from July 2012 to July 2015. Pimkwan also completed a Preliminary-medicine Internship at Carney Hospital from July 2011 to June 2012. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine (2007-2011) and a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Harvard University (2003-2007).
