Floris Brands

Floris Brands has a wealth of experience in business development, project management, and consulting. Floris began their career in 2008 as a Member of the Full-Time Board at Delftsche Studenten Sociëteit "Phoenix". In 2011, they were an Associate at High Potential Academy, followed by an internship as a Consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in 2012. That same year, they were an MSc Graduation Intern at Bluewater Energy Services. From 2014 to 2021, they worked at Ampelmann Operations in various roles, including Business Development Manager - Americas, Business Development Manager | Offshore Wind - Europe, and Project Manager Operations - Asia. Most recently, they have been a Business Development Manager at Samotics since 2021.

Floris Brands attended Willem de Zwijger College Bussum from 2000 to 2006, where they obtained a VWO (Pre-University) in Science and Technology. Floris then attended Delft University of Technology from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering. Floris also completed a Minor in Technology-Based Entrepreneurship at Delft University of Technology in 2010-2011. Finally, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Offshore Engineering at Delft University of Technology in 2011-2013.
