João Ferreira

João Ferreira has been working as a Technical Onboarding Specialist at Samotics since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Researcher Phd Candidate at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour from 2017 to 2022. As a Researcher Phd Candidate, they were a Cognitive Neuroscientist focused on the cognitive processes and brain structures involved when people produce language. João also developed, ran, analysed and communicated behavioral and functional magnetic resonance imaging experiments both with cognitively healthy adults and people with Parkinson's disease.

João Ferreira completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Faculdade de Psicologia da Universidade de Lisboa in 2014, and a Master's degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Lisbon in 2017.
