Rajendra Ranasinghe

Rajendra Ranasinghe is the current Assistant GM, Inward Remittance, KPO & BNO at Sampath Bank PLC. Rajendra started their career with Sampath Bank in January 1988 as Chief Manager Systems & Procedures. Rajendra has been with the company for over 26 years and has been instrumental in several projects. Some of their notable achievements include streamlining the inward remittance process and automating the back office operations. Rajendra has also played a key role in setting up the bank's first offshore data center.

Rajendra Ranasinghe obtained their MBA from the Australian Institute of Business (AIB). Rajendra is also a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a member of the British Computer Society (MBCS). Rajendra studied at the Royal College in Sri Lanka.

Rajendra Ranasinghe reports to Nanda Fernando, Managing Director. They work with Dulsiri Jayasinghe - Assistant GM, FCBU & Corporate Finance, Deepal De Silva - Deputy GM, Operations & Branch Banking, and Tharaka Ranwala - Senior Deputy GM, Group Marketing, Deposit Mobilization & Digitalization.
