Scientist, Synthetic Biology at Sampling Human

Laura Berne is a scientist and synthetic biologist with extensive experience in molecular biology and project coordination. Currently, Laura serves as a scientist at Sampling Human since September 2016. Prior to this role, Laura worked at the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge in the Malaria Molecular Epidemiology Unit as a molecular biology engineer from March 2014 to June 2016, overseeing project coordination and quality management. Laura's background includes a Master Thesis Internship at Evolva SA, where implementation of a new biosynthetic pathway in S. cerevisiae was conducted, along with various internships focusing on molecular biology and biotechnology at prestigious institutions. Laura holds an engineering degree in biotechnologies from Ecole Supérieure de Biotechnologies de Strasbourg and a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology.
