Danny Kohnen

Danny Kohnen has extensive work experience, starting with their role as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the US Navy from May 2007 to July 2014. Danny then worked as a Nuclear Power Officer at Yale University from August 2012 to August 2014. Following this, they served as the Vice President of the Yale Veterans Association from June 2014 to June 2015. Danny then joined Apple as a Global Supply Manager from June 2015 to November 2018. Currently, they are employed at Samsara, where they started as a Senior Manager in the Supply Chain department from November 2018 to October 2020, and currently holds the position of Director of Supply Chain starting from October 2020.

Danny Kohnen has a strong education background in the fields of business administration, nuclear power plant management, and computer science.

In 2003, Danny enrolled in the United States Naval Academy where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Danny completed their studies in 2007.

After completing their undergraduate degree, Danny joined the United States Department of Energy (Naval Reactors) in 2007. Danny obtained a qualification in Nuclear Power Plant Management during their time there, which lasted until 2011.

In 2011, Danny received an additional certification as a Nuclear Engineer Officer from the U.S. Department of Energy.

Danny continued to expand their educational background by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at the Yale School of Management. Danny attended Yale from 2013 to 2015, focusing on business administration.

Additionally, in 2010, Danny obtained the Submarine Officer Gold Dolphins certification from the US Navy.
