Zachary Scott has a comprehensive work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Zachary is currently serving as the Director of Employment at Samsara since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Sr. Counsel Employment at Lime from January 2020 to January 2021. At Lime, Zachary provided legal advice on employment matters and collaborated with multiple business units to establish scalable processes and policies.

Before Lime, Zachary was the Employment Counsel at Applied Materials from July 2018 to January 2020. Zachary handled legal matters related to employment for the company and collaborated with domestic and international business units. Zachary also reviewed and revised employment policies and training programs during their tenure.

Prior to Applied Materials, Zachary worked as a Managing Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from July 2016 to July 2018. Their responsibilities included advising and counseling on various aspects of the employment relationship, drafting policies for compliance, and managing litigation.

Zachary's earlier experience includes working as an Associate Attorney at Vedder Price from August 2014 to July 2016, where they defended companies in state and federal courts, negotiated settlements, and drafted cease and desist letters. Zachary also worked as an Associate Attorney/Summer Associate at Littler Mendelson from May 2010 to August 2014, representing companies in litigation and counseling on regulatory compliance.

Zachary started their career as an In-House Law Clerk at BCBSNC in 2009, where they negotiated contracts and drafted memos on insurance coverage and claim fraud. Zachary also worked as an Account Representative at TNS Research International from July 2007 to August 2008, managing client accounts and assisting the technology division.

Zachary Scott attended San Diego State University from 2004 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology. Following this, they enrolled at Duke University School of Law from 2008 to 2011 and obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
