Philippe Sartori

Philippe Sartori is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in telecommunications standardization and system design. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Samsung Electronics since January 2021, Philippe previously held the position of Standards Expert at Futurewei Technologies, Inc. from August 2008 to January 2021, leading efforts in 3GPP standards with a focus on V2X and sidelink for NR and LTE. Philippe has significantly contributed to the development of standards, including serving as Rapporteur for Rel-15 LTE V2X and Feature Lead for NR V2X cross-RAT aspects. Prior to Futurewei, Philippe was a Principal Staff Engineer at Motorola Labs, focusing on 4G systems, and began their career as a Research Engineer at Motorola Corporate Research, working on radio resource management for 3G systems. Philippe holds an MSEE degree in Telecommunication from Télécom Paris and an Engineering Diploma from École Polytechnique.
