Kirk McDonald P. Eng

Kirk McDonald P. Eng has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Kirk started their career in 2006 at ArcelorMittal Dofasco, where they worked as a Technology Coordinator for six years. In 2012, they joined Samuel, Son & Co. and held various positions. Kirk started as a Technical Services Metallurgist, where they focused on supplier and product development. Kirk also supported the customer quality group in resolving metallurgical issues and worked closely with sales and purchasing to optimize steel purchases. In 2014, they transitioned to the role of Manager of Product Development and Technical Services. After three years, they were promoted to Director of Automotive Technical Services, a position they held until April 2023. Lastly, Kirk served as the Operations Manager for Samuel Metal Blanking from March 2023 to the present.

Kirk McDonald P. Eng completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Materials Engineering from McMaster University between the years 2002 and 2006.
