Cory Nelson

Cory Nelson has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In 1989, Cory began working as an Administrative Assistant at The Home Depot, where they stayed until 2002. In 2010, they joined the City of Upland as a Senior Administrative Assistant until 2012. From 2012 to 2021, Cory worked at San Bernardino County, starting as an Administrative Analyst II and progressing to Chief Finance Officer-Innovation and Technology Dept. In October 2021, they joined the San Bernardino County Fire Department as the Deputy Chief of Business Operations.

Cory Nelson attended Cerritos High School for their secondary education. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration at California State University-San Bernardino. Following the completion of their undergraduate studies, Cory continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Public Administration from the College of Business and Public Administration in 2010.
