Lara Honey-Brooks

LB Brooks oversees the administration of San Francisco AIDS Foundation programs and services. LB works with staff and community partners to anticipate changing needs, drive strategy, and grow services to reach populations most affected by or at risk for HIV.

Prior to joining SFAF, LB was executive director of the Chicago Youth Storage Initiative, a citywide storage project for young people experiencing homelessness. Prior to that, they worked at Howard Brown Health's Broadway Youth Center where they directed programs that serve LGBTQ youth and youth experiencing homelessness. LB has also served as a long-time consultant, providing expertise in capacity building and program evaluation/design to a diverse array of clients.
