Maura Whelehan

Teaching Artist at San Francisco Ballet

Maura Whelehan is a teaching artist at the San Francisco Ballet. Maura has been with the company for over 20 years, starting as an HR manager and adult education coordinator. Maura has a passion for dance and loves working with students of all ages.

Maura Whelehan has a Masters in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco, a Masters in Ballet from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Bachelor's Degree in Dance and Psychology from San Francisco State University. Maura also has a High School Diploma in Ballet from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.

They are on a team with Lauren MacMadu - School Faculty, Larissa Ponomarenko - School Faculty Member, and Pascal Molat - Ballet & Trainee Program Assistant. Their manager is Patrick Armand, Director, San Francisco Ballet School.
