Ron Rogers

Ron Rogers is the Interim Vice Provost, Academic Innovation & Online Initiatives at San Jose State University. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Dean, Academic Programs & Student Success from January 2020 to May 2021. Rogers has been with San Jose State University since 1999, serving in various capacities including Chair of Psychology, Professor of Psychology, and Associate Professor of Psychology. Ron began their career as a Research Associate at Indiana University Bloomington before becoming an NIMH Postdoctoral Fellow.

Ron Rogers completed a Bachelor's Degree in Experimental Psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Ron then completed a Master's Degree in Behavioral Neuroscience at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. Finally, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Behavioral Neuroscience at Rutgers University-New Brunswick.

Ron Rogers reports to Vincent J. Del Casino, Provost & SVP, Academic Affairs. They work with Audrey Shillington - Dean, College of Health and Human Sciences, Junelyn Peeples - Vice Provost, Institutional Effectiveness & Strategic Analytics, and Heather Lattimer - Dean, Education.
