Steve Goldman

Head of CNS Therapy at Sana Biotechnology

Steve Goldman is the current head of CNS Therapy at Sana Biotechnology, Inc. Prior to this, they were a co-instructor for junior-level biochemistry at Goucher College from January 2020 to May 2020. Steve has also been a Damon Runyon Cancer Foundation Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine from November 2015 to February 2021, researching mRNA translation using high-throughput sequencing and single-molecule imaging. In 2013, they were an NSF Graduate Research Opportunities Worldwide Fellow at Uppsala University in Sweden, studying the kinetics of protein synthesis. Steve Goldman obtained their PhD from UC Berkeley in 2015 and has also worked as a research technician at Columbia University Medical Center and the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Steve Goldman earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Physics and French from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Steve Goldman reports to Steve Harr, President, Director & CEO. They work with Shanna Peek - Head of Corporate Operations, Farah Anwar - Head of Development Operations & IDE Leader, and Julie Lepin - Head of Regulatory, Safety & Quality.
