Simranjit Grewal is a skilled materials scientist with extensive experience in electrodeposition, materials characterization, and the fabrication of electrochemical devices. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Appointee at Sandia National Laboratories, Simranjit specializes in AgCl materials for nanoreferences and critical zone electrochemical ion detection devices. As a mentor for the Materials Research Society Early Career Engagement Subcommittee, Simranjit has successfully organized events to enhance communication and collaboration among team members. Simranjit's academic background includes a PhD in Materials Engineering and a Master of Science in Materials and Biomaterials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Merced, along with multiple bachelor's degrees in Physics, Economics, and Biology from California State University, Stanislaus.
