Lukas Horak

Lukas Horak has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Lukas started their career as an Audit Assistant at Ernst & Young, where they primarily worked on Czech statutory audits and audit reviews of IFRS or US GAAP reporting packages for clients from various industries. Lukas then moved on to T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s., where they held several senior roles including Senior Head of Accounting, Senior Head of Financial Reporting and Accounting Methodology, and Head of General Ledger. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and coordination with audit teams. Most recently, Lukas worked at Novartis, where they served as Manager O2C and later as Global Capability and Process Manager O2C/GSPL. In these positions, they managed transitions, led an O2C team, focused on process standardization, and served as a point of contact for CFOs and business units. Currently, Lukas works as the Finance Core GPO Lead at Sandoz.

Lukas Horak pursued a Master's degree in Finance Management from Masaryk University Brno, where they studied from 1995 to 2001. In addition, they participated in the Erasmus Programme at the University of Helsinki in the field of Economics from 1999 to 2000. Lukas also completed the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification, earning the FCCA designation between 2001 and 2004.
