Jason Young

Principal Architect at Sandvine

Jason Young has a diverse work experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. Jason started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Inet Technologies, where they developed real-time and historical reporting applications for telecom carriers. Jason focused on client/web tier development using core Java, JSP/Servlet based web app, and custom User Interface engine. After that, they joined Tektronix Communications as a Principal Engineer, where they played a key role in launching a software platform for a new high bandwidth monitoring solution. Jason also led the client tier and contributed to defining and building custom JavaScript frameworks. Later, they became a Software Engineer IV and specialized in UI architecture and development for web and desktop clients. Jason worked on a second generation of real-time and historical reporting solutions and a real-time analyzer client. Jason then moved to VIAVI Solutions as a Senior Manager, Engineering, leading the xSIGHT Mobile Analytics UI team and overseeing 3 major releases, including a re-architected 2.0 release. In this role, they served as a hiring manager and a hands-on technical architect. Most recently, they joined Sandvine as a Principal Architect.

Jason Young earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington from 1997 to 2000. In November 2018, they obtained the certification of Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc.
