Clara Guida

Clara Guida, PhD, is a staff scientist at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, where innovative projects focused on epigenetic drift during cardiac aging are led. With a strong background in epigenetics, cardiology, and aging, Clara has collaborated with prominent experts in the field and utilized advanced technology. Previously, as a postdoctoral associate, Clara's research on epigenetic mechanisms of cardiac dysfunction post-high-fat diet led to first-author recognition in Nature Communications and prestigious funding from the American Heart Association. Clara's academic journey includes a PhD in Biology from the University of Freiburg and a Master's in Biology from the University of Buenos Aires, supported by hands-on research experience across various institutions, culminating in numerous high-impact publications and international collaborations.
