Richard Meek

Richard Meek is currently the CFO at Sanivation, a position they have held since March 2020. Prior to this, they were the Group CFO at SolarNow BV from March 2020 to March 2022. From June 2016 to July 2018, they were the Group CFO at DirectPay Online Group, where they were responsible for successfully introducing a world class financial reporting package (Netsuite) which resulted in timely accurate monthly reporting to the executive team and Board. Richard was also key in setting up and establishing 14 new companies in countries across Africa (South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Namibia, Botswana, Mauritius, Mozambique, DRC, Cote d’Ivoire, Morocco, Ethiopia), building relationships with local banks, legal and accountancy firms and putting in place reporting and compliance structures in line with local requirements.

Richard Meek is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA). Richard has a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Surrey. Richard also has a certification from ICAEW in Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
