Ashoka Madduri

Ashoka Madduri, PhD MBA, currently serves as the Global Head of Scientific Strategy & Intelligence at Sanofi, having joined in September 2023. Previously, Ashoka was a Blavatnik Entrepreneurial Fellow at Yale Ventures, where efforts focused on biotech venture creation and life sciences entrepreneurship from June 2022 to August 2023. Additionally, Ashoka mentored academic founders of pre-seed biotech companies through Nucleate in 2023. As a partner at Vestra Associates, Ashoka specialized in BioPharma corporate strategy and sustainability in 2022-2023. Leadership experience includes co-founding and serving as CEO of TargetSite Therapeutics, as well as roles at Strand Therapeutics and Aviceda Therapeutics. Educational credentials include an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, a PostDoc in Immunology and Biochemistry from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Bio-organic Chemistry from the University of Groningen.
