Nicholas Wessel

Nicholas Wessel has extensive experience in media production and video production, currently holding multiple roles at SANS Institute since June 2018, including Manager of Media Production and OnDemand Senior Asset Capture Technician. Nicholas has been self-employed as a Freelance Video Producer since 2013, and previously worked as a Production Assistant and Receptionist at New American Funding from June 2016 to October 2017. As the Founder of American Optic Supply from March 2013 to June 2016, Nicholas established a distribution company specializing in high-end scientific optical materials. Early career experience includes roles as an E-Mail Marketing Coordinator, Student Film Assistant at NCAR Earth Observing Laboratory, and Film Intern at PeaceJam Foundation. Nicholas holds a BA in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics from The Art Institutes and has experience in technical documentation and graphic design through various positions at academic institutions.
