Tyler Lowery

Tyler Lowery is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in managing cybersecurity operations and training initiatives. Currently serving as Global Information Security Senior Manager at SANS Institute since June 2019, Tyler has a robust background that includes roles as a Senior Cyber Security Analyst and a Cyber Security Consultant at Northrop Grumman, where responsibilities included managing a team of over 20 Cyber Subject Matter Experts and leading cyber defense strategy development. Tyler has also held the position of Signal Officer in the US Army, focusing on information security policies and risk assessments. With academic credentials including a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Cameron University and a Master's degree in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus, Tyler possesses a strong foundation in both practical and theoretical aspects of cybersecurity.
