Nasrin Salie

Nasrin Salie started their career in 1996 at IBM as a Statistics Specialist. Nasrin then transitioned to roles in electronic banking at Nedcor Bank and Nedbank before moving into management assurance at an unspecified company. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Risk Consultant at Absa Wholesale Credit, followed by a role at Metropolitan Health Group as an Enterprise Risk Manager. Nasrin'smost recent role was at Santam Insurance, where they served as Head of Enterprise Risk Management and Enterprise Risk Manager from 2014 to 2018. Nasrin'sresponsibilities included implementing risk management strategies, maintaining business continuity, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Nasrin Salie completed a B.A. in Social Sciences at the University of Durban-Westville in 1994, followed by a B.A. Honours in Psychology in 1995. In 2011, they obtained a CI degree from the Institute of Internal Auditors. In 2018, they completed the Senior Leadership Development Program at Duke University. Nasrin also holds additional certifications in Lead for Performance and Growth, Developing Business Acumen, and Understanding Business.
