Hisashi Hasegawa has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. HISASHI is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Santec Corporation since 2022. Previously, they worked as a Supply Chain Consultant for the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) from 2019 to 2021, where they successfully reduced inventory by 20% and expanded suppliers in China and Japan. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief of Staff/Supply Chain, Business Development & Strategy, Quality Control at Metal One Service Asia (Wuhan, China) Co.,Ltd. from 2016 to 2019, where they managed the start-up of a new plant and oversaw general management, business planning, customer and supplier development, financial control, and ISO promotion. HISASHI also worked as the Deputy Sales Manager (Automotive) at Metal One Service Asia (Guangzhou, China) Co., Ltd. from 2015 to 2016, achieving annual sales of $40 million. Lastly, they held roles at Metal One Corporation, including Strategy Supervisor from 2014 to 2015 and Sales Supervisor (Automotive & Home-Appliance) from 2009 to 2014, where they managed business plans, KPIs, feasibility studies, and sales in Chinese subsidiaries.
Hisashi Hasegawa holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from USC Marshall School of Business, which they earned in 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Sociology at Peking University from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained two certifications: the Business Analytics Certificate from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business and the Applied Business Analytics Certificate from MIT Sloan Executive Education, both in 2022.
