Faramarz Farhoodi

Faramarz Farhoodi has a long and varied work experience. In 2014, they became the CEO of Sapient Shopping (formerly AquaThings), where they were responsible for creating the ultimate omnichannel shopping experience powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI). From 2013 to 2012, they were the Executive Vice President, CMO (Solutionstar) and General Manager (HomeSearch.com) at Nationstar Mortgage, and Co-founder and CEO of Charity Dreams, LLC. from 2012 to 2010, they were the COO and CTO of Auction.com, and from 2007 to 2005 they were the CIO and EVP of Ecommerce at MotoSport, Inc. and Manager for Target.com at Amazon.com, respectively. From 2004 to 2003, they were the Managing Director of Professional Services at Haley Systems (Acquired by Oracle) and Head of Software Product Management at FreeMarkets (Acquired by ARIBA), respectively. In 2002, they were a Globetrotter! at International Travel, and from 1996 to 2003 they were the CTO and GM for Retail and Manufacturing - FL subsidiary at Perot Systems (aquired by Dell).

Faramarz Farhoodi obtained a B.Sc. Honors in Economics from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd between 1978 and 1981. Faramarz then went on to obtain an M.Sc. in Computer Science/AI from the University of Essex in 1984. Additionally, Faramarz Farhoodi has a U.C. Berkeley Executive Leadership Program certification from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
