Rob Hesse

Rob Hesse, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rob currently holds the role of Director, Strategic Alliances at Sarepta Therapeutics, where they have been working since 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate Director, Strategic Alliances at the same company. From 2018 to 2020, they served as Director, Business Development and Senior Scientist at IVIVA Medical Inc. Before that, they worked as a Consultant at ClearView Healthcare Partners from 2016 to 2018. Rob also gained experience at Genentech as a Pipeline and Portfolio Planning Co-Op in 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Researcher at UCSF from 2010 to 2015 and as a Staff Research Associate at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2009 to 2010. Rob started their career as a Quality Assurance Engineering Co-Op at Becton, Dickinson and Company in 2009.

Rob Hesse, PhD, earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2006 to 2010. Rob then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco from 2010 to 2015.
