Director, Talent Development (transformation) at SGI

Christine Parnetta has extensive work experience in the field of human resources, talent development, and leadership & learning. Christine worked for SGI from 2005 to 2023, starting as an HR Consultant in the area of privacy, access & ethics. From 2007 to 2009, they served as an HR Consultant for employee relations. Following that, they worked as a Human Resources Consultant in leadership & learning from 2009 to 2019. In 2019, they were promoted to the role of Manager, Leadership & Learning. In January 2023, they took on the position of Director, Talent Development (Transformation) at SGI.

Prior to their employment at SGI, Christine worked as a Recruitment Coordinator at Maple Leaf Foods Inc from July 2004 to June 2005.

Christine Parnetta holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Development from the University of Regina, which they obtained from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Marketing diploma at Saskatchewan Polytechnic from 1999 to 2001. In addition to their degrees, they have acquired several certifications throughout their career, such as the Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) from The Institute for Performance and Learning in 2017, the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) from CPHR Saskatchewan in 2010, and the Information Access and Protection of Privacy Certificate (IAPP) from the University of Alberta in 2008. Christine has also obtained various professional certifications related to meeting facilitation, training, adult education, and virtual facilitation from institutions such as LinkedIn, The Institute for Performance and Learning, Training Magazine, and Birkman.
