Atef Motawea

Atef Motawea, PMP has over 20 years of experience in project management and automation/instrumentation engineering roles. Most recently, they served as a Project Coordinator at Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) starting in April 2022. Prior to that, from September 2020 to March 2022, Atef worked as a Project Management Consultant. Atef also worked as a Project Manager at Beyti - A Joint Venture of Almarai & Pepsico from December 2014 to June 2020, where they successfully managed various projects. Atef's experience also includes working as a Project Manager at Saint-Gobain from January 2012 to November 2014. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Automation & Instrumentation Engineer at LafargeHolcim from June 2007 to December 2011. Earlier in their career, Atef worked as an Automation & Instrumentation Engineer at Titan Cement Company SA from April 2004 to May 2007, and at ASEC Cement from April 2002 to March 2004. Atef Motawea is a certified PMP and has a strong background in project management and engineering in the cement industry.

Atef Motawea, PMP, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Alexandria University, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also hold a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in July 2021. Atef has further enhanced their skills and expertise through various additional certifications, including being a PMI Certified Member, completing the Personify Leadership program, obtaining the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People certification from FranklinCovey, and achieving Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services. Atef has also completed training programs in Coaching and Counseling as well as Train the Trainer from ProMark, both of which they obtained in June 2005.
