Chief Business Officer at Satellite Bio

Dr. Laura Lande-Diner joined Satellite Bio in August 2020 and serves as Chief Business Officer. A serial entrepreneur, leader and innovator, Lande-Diner co-founded and helped launch four life sciences companies.

Lande-Diner’s work is driven by her belief in the ability of entrepreneurially-minded scientists to solve important problems in therapeutics, and the conviction that the most valuable innovation is that which creates a profound societal impact.

Prior to joining Satellite Bio, Lande-Diner was on the founding team of Valo Health, which she joined full time in January 2019. At Valo, she conceived and drove the early data strategy by initiating, leading and executing four foundational business development deals within less than 18 months of Valo’s inception.

Prior to Valo, Lande-Diner was part of the Origination team at Flagship Pioneering, where she was on the founding teams of Epiva/Evelo (NASDAQ: EVLO), Inari Agriculture and Omega Therapeutics (NASDAQ: OMGA). In each of these companies, Lande-Diner played key roles in the conception, articulation and implementation of the early company strategy, IP estate generation and IP strategy, building the early senior leadership team and the advisory boards and articulating the vision to investors and other external parties.

Lande-Diner is a named inventor on numerous patents and applications, has authored more than 10 peer review articles, and was selected as one of the 100 Most Inspiring People in the life-sciences industry by PharmaVOICE in 2017. Before starting her entrepreneurial career, Lande-Diner was an Instructor in Neurobiology at Harvard Medical School.

Lande-Diner earned her PhD in Epigenetics and Molecular Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Medical School and conducted her postdoctoral training in Circadian Biology at Harvard Medical School.
