Abdulaziz al-Bani

Abdulaziz Al-Bani, MBA, CCO, CAMS, CISA, CGSS, PMP, ICA has extensive work experience in compliance and risk management roles. Abdulaziz is currently the Chief Compliance Officer at the Saudi Credit Bureau - SIMAH, a position they began in November 2021. Prior to this, they served as the General Manager of Consumer Protection and Customer Complaints at Banque Saudi Fransi from 2020 to 2021, and as the Chief Compliance Officer from 2017 to 2020. Abdulaziz has also held positions of significant responsibility at Saudi Fransi Leasing Company, Al Rajhi Bank, SABB, Arab National Bank, and Samba Financial Group, where they gained experience in various compliance and leadership roles. Abdulaziz Al-Bani has a strong academic background, including an MBA, and holds certifications such as CAMS, CISA, CGSS, PMP, and ICA.

Abdulaziz Al-Bani obtained their Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business from King AbdulAziz University in 1999. Abdulaziz then pursued a Diploma in Computer Science from the International Academy of Design and Technology-Chicago in 1997-1999. In 2002-2014, they completed a Hi Diploma in English Language and English Business Language from Wall Street English France. Abdulaziz furthered their education by earning a Postgraduate Diploma in International Financial Management from Washington State University in 2016-2017. In 2016-2018, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Al Yamamah University. Abdulaziz Al-Bani also attended INSEAD in 2017-2018, where they completed the Leadership Management Programs in Business Administration and Management. Abdulaziz has also acquired various certifications, including the Certified Global Sanctions Specialist (CGSS), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Compliance Officer (CCO), among others.
