Abdullah Alrasheed

Abdullah AlRasheed has worked in various roles within the IT development and payment industry for over 15 years. Abdullah started their career as a Software Engineer at Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) in 2006. Later, at Alinma Bank, they managed the implementation of prepaid cards, POS merchants management system, and online fraud monitoring system. Abdullah also played a key role in establishing the bank's card payment systems and achieving PCI-DSS certification. Abdullah then joined SAMA as the mada Development & Support Manager, where they oversaw technical activities and led software analysis and implementation. Abdullah later became the Head of Quality Assurance Division, leading multi-functional teams and collaborating with internal and external businesses to deliver business plans. Currently, Abdullah is the IT Development Senior Director at Saudi Payments, leading cross-functional technical teams to develop and implement payment and enterprise applications, as well as directing product development efforts and aligning departmental objectives with organizational goals. Overall, Abdullah AlRasheed has a strong background in IT development, payment systems, and quality assurance.

Abdullah AlRasheed completed a Leadership Programme at INSEAD in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering from King Saud University, which they completed from 2000 to 2006.
