Jan-Olav Henck

Jan-Olav Henck has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Jan-Olav is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at SPIMACO since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President - Development Services at Syngene International Limited from January 2020 to June 2022.

Jan-Olav Henck also had a long tenure at Bayer, where they held multiple leadership roles including Vice President, Head Formulation Development from September 2018 to January 2020, Vice President, Head Chemical Development from April 2017 to January 2020, and Vice President, Head Analytical Development & Process Science from June 2012 to January 2020.

Jan-Olav started their career at Aptuit as Vice President, CSO from 2011 to May 2012, and prior to that, they worked at SSCI, a Division of Aptuit, as Sr. Director, Site Head from 2009 to 2011 and as Sr. Research Director from 2006 to 2009.

Jan-Olav Henck obtained their Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Innsbruck in 1996.
