Moumita Saha

Moumita Saha is a seasoned Social Development Professional currently working independently since September 2023. With a rich background in advocacy, campaign coordination, and communication, Moumita has been affiliated with Save the Children, India since May 2015, where roles have included Advocacy, Campaign & Communication Coordinator and Assistant Manager-project. Previous experience includes working as a Development Consultant for various organizations from 2010 to 2015 and serving as Asia Programme Manager at Healthlink Worldwide from 2008 to 2010. Moumita began career at Child In Need Institute, contributing significantly as Coordinator of the Resource Centre and as Communication and Social Mobilisation Officer. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Advanced Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from Bhavans College and a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in English from Jadavpur University. Expertise encompasses participatory communication, strategic planning, and areas addressing women and child development, disability, and HIV & AIDS.
