Alistair Brown

Alistair Brown is an experienced financial executive with a strong background in both not-for-profit and corporate sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research since October 2021, Alistair also contributes as a Board Member for Save the Children Philippines and previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Save the Children Australia from January 2013 to October 2021. Alistair's extensive career includes significant positions at AXA Asia Life as Regional Chief Financial Officer and various roles at AXA Asia Pacific Holdings and AXA Japan. Additionally, Alistair was involved with Aardvark Music as a Board Member and Treasurer, supporting creative programs for young people facing illness or disability. Alistair holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Melbourne and has foundational education from Haileybury College.
